Location: Voyager’s sickbay Panel 1: Star Trek Voyager-style title: “Diagnosis.” EMH: “A callus on your finger, and your shoulder’s hurting, too. You have the early symptoms…” 2: EMH: “…of Pac-Man fever.” Pac-Man, on the bio bed: “So what do we do about it, Doc?” EMH: “I’m afraid there’s no known cure. I can treat the symptoms and keep you comfortable, but the illness is one hundred percent fatal within six months. But I will continue studying the disease and I won’t rest until I’ve found a cure.” 3: Pac-Man: “It’s not worth the effort, Doc. I’m not afraid to die.” EMH: “Of course it is! You’re my patient. I’ll do everything I can to try to save your life.” Pac-Man: “You don’t understand.” 4: Pac-Man, standing, gestures to three extra life icons on the floor. “I’ve still got three extra lives.”
